Blue Bell Creameries has decided to drop a new limited-edition flavor, one that combines two iconic desserts, to create a rather cheesy and chocolatey mashup.
The ice cream company unveiled Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream on Thursday, a new flavor they say was created to celebrate the two days in July that recognize ice cream and cheesecake.
“This year is the 40th anniversary of National Ice Cream Month. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday as National Ice Cream Day,” according to a news release. “The following year, July 30 officially became National Cheesecake Day.”
What’s in Blue Bell’s new Cookies ‘n Cream x Cheesecake crossover flavor?
Blue Bell’s new decadent flavor consists of a cheesecake ice cream base blended with chocolate cookie crusted cheesecake pieces and chocolate crème-filled cookies.
Where can I get Blue Bell’s new Cookies ‘n Cream x Cheesecake crossover flavor?
Cookies ‘n Cream Cheesecake Ice Cream will be available in “half gallon and pint sizes for a limited time” at grocers across the county.
